              Chitraranga.com was launched on 2nd April, 2003 in Bangalore. Though many sites were already present on web, one of the company in bangalore taught to launch one more "Maha Portal" (bigportal) relating to karnataka films especially kannada movies.

        More over Itskannada is the first kannada entertainment website that has photorating system in it. Chitraranga has various other sections like movie reviews, downloads, wallpapers, cine news, contest and much more. . .

Mr. Madhav Keerthy an young enthusiastic webdesigner from bangalore finished his under graduate course in computerscience from Vokkaligara Sanga's Vishweshwarapura college of science, situated in bangalore. Madhav Keerthy was awarded as Prathibha Sreshta (champion of the college) in the year 1996, where he won prizes among various cultural competitions held in VVPCS. Also as an writer Mr. Madhav has published various books called Geethamanjari, Amalapuri, Rakta, Santeya Soma, Kaddavaru Yaaru and more novels. Madhav Keerthy during his Secondary school education (SSLC) started his keen interest on web.

   In the year 2002 Madhav Keerthy established an company called Karnataka Group of Portals, First project under this company was the site, Itskannada. Next Chitraranga came in to existance. Further the company is planning to bringout Telugu and Tamil sections in chitraranga website. Note : We are looking for affiliates who can establish office at Hyderabad and Chennai for the respective websites and work with us .
