‘Modala Male’ is a film with a humorous plot that tells what happens when a boy who is not liked by any girl is going to get married. Rajanarasimha is seen in the lead role in this film which has been scripted with mixture of murder mystery, comedy and horror in the story-line. Apart from acting in lead role Rajanarasimha has invested in the film. Raja Sharan has written the story, screenplay and directed the film. According to director the film has nine female leads, including Mamata Gowda, Sahitya, Usha, Priya Shetty. The film has music composed by Prasanna Bhoja Shettar. Speaking at the trailer launch event that held recently, hero Rajanarasimha said, ‘I am a farmer’s son, my dream is to become an actor. Few years back when I went to do a movie as a actor and I got cheated. Now I have made this film myself as producer and i play the lead role as hero. He said that the story of this film is about Javaraya who came from the village to achieve something and what happened in the end.
Director Raja Sharan said, Earlier I had made a film called ‘Hinde Emmetamma’. This is my second film and producer and hero Rajanarasimha is a 5-year-old friend of mine. Infact I made a different story for him, but when talk came can a film be done with 10 heroines for this hero, i took as a challenge and made the script ‘Modala Male’. Marriage can be termed as the first rain in a person’s life. Will this first rain come to hero’s life is the story plot. We shot for the film for 40 days around Madikeri, Sakleshpur, Mysore and Bangalore. The film got U/A because of the horror content’ he said. Apart from actors Ganesh Rao, Jyothi Marooru, Raj and the four heroines who were present talked about their roles.
