It is a healthy development that more and more movies based on real-life incidents are coming in Sandalwood these days. In line with that, now a new team had made film ‘Nodadha Putagalu’ which is all ready for release. “There are lot of twist and turns that arise in everyday life. one need to wait for their turn” is the tagline of the film. Recently the trailer and song launch event of the movie was held in a grand manner by the film team. Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce President Ba Ma Harish, Producers Association President Umesh Bankar and veteran actor Dingri Nagaraj graced the occasion and wished the team good luck. Techie turned film maker S Vasant Kumar has penned the story for Nodadha Putagalu and directed the film along with producing the movie through his home banner ‘Sweet and Salt’ Movies. Vasanth Kumar who is a techie with a passion for the cine industry, took course in directing and gained experience as an assistant working under Koodlu Ramakrishna, and movies like Yogi starrer ‘Yaksha’. Before making this movie, Vasanth has also directed many short films.

Briefing information about the film, the director said, ‘Every year there are certain events that happen in a certain period in every ones life. I narrated a short thread based on this to my friend who was also a techie. He suggested to make this story a film. That’s how Nodadha Putagalu started. While shooting curiosity was made for artists without telling them entire story of the film. The film narrates situations of four age groups come and go in the film. All come together to climax. But they don’t meet each other. Preetham Makkihalli appears in lead role and Kavya Ramesh as heroine. Vasu, Vilas Kulkarni, Gauthamji, Ashok Rao, P B Raju Nayak, Shanti S Gowda, Mohan Kumar, Raghu Srivatsa, Amritesh, Renuka Gowda and others are among the star cast. Vignesh Menon has composed the music for the songs with lyrics by Prashant Gonaki and C Raghunath for the film. Cinematography by Kumar N.

Film crew also released poster of Nodadha Putagalu. Ba Ma Harish, Umesh Banakar, Dingri Nagaraj, Victory Vasu were honored on this occasion.
