Sri Raghavendra Chitravani – one of the renowned PRO agency acting as a bridge between Kannada cinema and media for the past 47 years, it’s film awards event was held at the Kalavidhara Sangha today. On this occasion, the Raghavendra Chitravani Special Annual Award was given to actress Tara Anuradha, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar for the production of the movie ‘Gandhadagudi’ and Shailaja Vijay Kirgandur of Hombale Films for the production of the movie ‘Kantara’. 2021 Raghavendra Chitravani Awards were presented to veteran film producer Shri P Dhanraj and senior journalist Eshwar Daitota. Also, Shri Raghavendra Chitravani Awards 2022 were received by veteran actor-producer Kumar Govind and senior journalist and Karnataka Media Academy President Sadashiva Shenoy.

Singer Rajesh Krishnan received the Dr.Rajkumar award given by the family of Parvathamma Rajkumar. Receiving the award Rajesh Krishnan said the name Dr Rajkumar itself is an award. I have sung songs of many films of Rajanna, Raghanna, Shivanna and Puneeth’.

R Seshadri Memorial Award was presented by Bharthi Vishnuvardhan to veteran director and producer Saiprakash. Senior actress Tulsi was felicitated with Dr. Jayamala H.M. Ramachandra Award. Shri Nobin Pal got the award for Best Music Direction for the file ‘777 Charlie’ sponsored from M.S. Ramaiah Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Madhuchandra got the Best Story Writer award for ‘Selfie Mummy Google Daddy’ (From Director-Producer Mr. KV Jayaram Award, contributed by Meenakshi Jayaram). M.G. Srinivas (Sreeni) got Best Dialogue award for ‘Old Monk’ (in the name of Cinematographer Sri Hunasuru Krishnamurthy Memorial Award, contributed by Dr.H.K. Narahari). Sri Kiran Raj (‘777 Charlie’) for directorial debut (Sri B. Suresh Award for Feature Film-Short Film Director). Shri Pramod Maravante for ‘Singara Siriye …’ song lyrics from ‘Kantara’ (Senior Journalist Mr. P G Srinivasamurthy Memorial Award) by Mr. Vinayakaram Kalagaru.
